Every week my daughters, 5yo and 7yo, get an hour with the talented (and not just with her patience), Katie Hotko. Usually, I have to fight with them to attend any extracurricular activities, but my girls fight to attend this more often. In their words, 'I would be happy to do this everyday'. Every Tuesday the children come running out of class with colour, streaked faces, masterpieces balancing carefully on paint, encrusted fingers, chests puffed out, wide excited eyes, toothy (or toothless) smiles, to proudly show off their latest piece. I am pretty sure that every ooh and aaahhh from the mums is genuine. I know mine are. Lil Picassos
