4 Great new beauty products under $20

Vlog time. I am sharing four great new products I have recently discovered. Even better, they are all under $20. Winning!
  1. Garnier BB Cream. Miracle Skin Perfector for Oily & Combinations Skin $13.95. All-in-one B.B. Cream. Oil free. SPF 15. I have been using the light one and I really like it. I love the matt finish and it has nice coverage for daytime.
  2. Garnier Dark Spot Corrector. Daily Unifying Moisturiser with Vitamin C $16.95. This corrects discolouration for even skintone. This feels great on and can be used day and night.
  3. Sexy red nail polish from Butter Nail polish in Pillar Box Red. This is Free with Instyle Magazine October Issue. I love that this is from their 3 free range. Free from Formalldehyde, Toluene and DBP.
  4. Makellos Eye Primer $12.95. Great colour and price and easy to use. I love their range of loose Shimmer powders too.

This is not a sponsored post. I have not received payment but I did receive the Garnier and Makellos products to try.

The B.B. Bandwagon

Everyone is talking about BB creams. So, of course, I have to jump on the band wagon and check them out.

I have chosen three to play with, Missha M Perfect Cover B.B. Cream in No. 23, Garnier Miracle Skin Perfector in Medium and Olay Complete Care Touch of Foundation Even Complexion in medium. These names are all ridiculously long so I am going to call them Missha, Garnier and Olay.

Here I am all clean and fresh as a wilted daisy.
Missha costs about $15 (guessing here) and I bought in on ebay. This is very, very thick and a little clay like. It smells strongly of sunscreen but it does cover those imperfections. I wanted to rip my face off after 30 minutes, so this is not a great one for me.
I bought the Garnier on sale at Woolies for about $10. This is very sheer and shiny. I feel like I look a little dirty when I first put it on, then I stopped noticing. This would be the sheerest of the three.
I picked up the Olay when I was grocery shopping yesterday. It had 30% off which made it about $10. When I put it on, it was like coming home. I think I may have even groaned as I applied it. I really like the feel of it on my skin and it has a matter finish than the others.
Today is Easter Sunday and we are heading off to Imbil for a picnic with my In-laws. The winner of the BB/tinted moisturisers for this outing was..............................

The Olay by a landslide. This will be my go to for casual day wear. It only has 15 SPF but looks, feels and smells the best.

What I am lovin' right now

I am loving the new Garnier BB Cream.  You have probably heard about this cream and there is a good reason everyone has been talking about it. BB means Beauty balm or blemish balm and they have been big in Asia for a while and have found their way here at last.
This cream is a combination of skincare, make up and sunscreen.  It is brilliant for the lazy lady that wants to put in minimal effort with maximin results. They call it the miracle skin perfector.  It's lightweight, with vitamin C, mineral pigments, SPF 15 UV filters and a light cover up.  This really is great for non make up people, because it doesn't feel like you are wearing any.

Also the price is only $14 approx. So perfect for the lazy and cheap lady.

I love dill.  The herb.

I am also loving my new Wittner boots. I had been on a mission to find boots like this for a while. How awesome are the sales at the moment? These amazing boots were down from $190 to $59. The leather is so beautiful and soft and the boots so carelessly slouchy. I think they'll look great with a dress in summer and even better with tights or jeans in winter.  I am not sure I'll be able to shop out of sales ever again.
This reminds me that I also love the new parking system at Chermside.  No more driving around looking for a vacant park.

Lastly, I am loving my new colour and cut. I visited Danielle at Beautiful You yesterday for some maintenance. My hair was in desperate need of some love after being twisted, knotted, braided and ignored for most of the school holidays. Beautiful You has some fantastic specials on for new customers at the moment, 50% off hair and beauty services. What a bargain!!
