8 Necessary blogging tools

I have been blogging for about 9 months now. I have bought many blogging 'necessities' and most have gone by the wayside. Here are my 8 necessary blogging tools that have stayed and I use regularly.

1. iMac computer. This sits in my kitchen and it must get used 4 hours a day at least

2. iPhone. How did I manage anything before this? I love this this for twitter and sharing photos through Instagram

3. Charges. Obvious I know. iPhone charger for the home, the car and a mobile MiGear for emergencies.

 4. Camera. Sometimes the iPhone doesn't cut it.

5. Camera tripod. I love this for taking complete outfit selfies 

 6. iPad. For blogging on the move. The attachable keyboard is very handy too.

 7. Belkin Microphone. I attached this to my iPad for vlogging. I improves the sound dramatically.

 8. Nikon camera remote. Makes it so much easier to take photos of myself at a distance and I always look better at a distance.

Avoiding Christmas Shopping

I should be busy trying to catch up on all my Christmas shopping and wrapping but I am excited because I have a tripod and remote for my camera. Dorky I know. I was sitting here twiddling my thumbs wondering what to take a photos of. Looking at my twiddling thumbs I noticed they needed a manicure. Bingo! The results were a lame Christmas inspired french polish and I could have taken the photo without the remote. I used Sally Hansen Cafe Au Lait (the best nude colour) and Bloom Aspen.

I also found a hair donut and decided to attempt an updo. I have never used one before and I think it would be a lot easier if I my hair was a little thicker.

 I let my daughter play with my camera too. I love this photo she took of herself. Isn't she cute.

After putting it off all morning I headed out to North Lakes, again.  I still wasn't able to get all my shopping done, but I had fun with my six year old playing with all the testers in Target. We also tried out the new Sushi bar, it's located between Dymocks and Dan Murphy's. It was good and the service was fast. I could have sat for hours watching the hypnotic food go round and round.
