I love a cup of tea and the quiet little moments you have with them. I am always on the look out for tea paraphernalia that will help me make the perfect cup.
Beautifully scented loose tea leaves,
various tea strainers,
and lovely teapots...
PS: I am joining up with Wordless Wednesday at My Little Drummer Boys.
I just treated myself to a completely unnecessary tin for tea bags. And an equally unnecessary plate for holding used tea bags.
ReplyDeleteI too have the leaf tea making paraphernalia, but it's a lot of effort, and bags are so easy.
All the things you can buy are gorgeous and pretty but such a waste of money in the end. Pity I always fall for them. Rx
DeleteI have a collection of beautiful teapots & cups but I always use my old fave mug with a tea bag! I do have to say that just looking at my collection makes me happy....even if I do have to dust them! LOL!
ReplyDeleteActually, mine do make me very happy too. I knew there was a good reason I kept on investing in them. Rachel x
DeleteI was brought up with an English father who's tea making was always a ceremony!
ReplyDeleteWe are more partial to the espressomachinethatcostsamintorelse cuppa here though! Oops!
Love the story though Rach! :)
Yes, I have a Coffee machine that costs way too much too. But after 6 years, it's still going well. Cost per cup would be pretty awesome by now. Rachel x
DeleteWell, I am a coffee lover but drink at least one cup of tea per day, and you are right, a tea bag is best. I also make herbal tea with herbs from my garden, and have a small infuser tea pot for that. (They are $5 at Kmart)I make iced tea in summer from herbs as well, but use a jug for that..

Yes, you are the ultimate coffee girl. What a great idea making your own herbal iced tea, yum!! Rxx
DeleteI am a tea lover, I love a good coffee, but tea is for those quiet moments when all the kids are sleeping and I can sit in peace and quiet and enjoy.
ReplyDeleteI start the day off with a coffee (or two) but switch to tea about 10am. I love the quiet when the kids are asleep too. Rx
DeleteI have lots of lovely china cups that I have collected over the years yet I still use a mug for my tea! Cup or mug it still takes good - and even better if there's 5 minutes of peace to go with it!
ReplyDeleteSometimes 5 minutes is all we need. It's funny, I have so many teacups but always use a mug for tea. :) Rachel x
DeleteI love a good cup of tea. I have pots, infusers, a tea stick... but I always find a tea bag is just so much simpler!
ReplyDeleteA tea bag is sooo much simpler and less washing up afterwards. Rxx
DeleteI'm a sucker for tea-related paraphernalia, too. That tea cosy almost makes we want to learn how to know... almost!
ReplyDeleteI know, I actually bought the tea cozy on ebay and have been looking for more ever since. I would love to be able to have some to give as gifts. Rachel x
DeleteI guess I would need to love drinking tea to appreciate tea and it apparatus. Great tea cosys though
ReplyDeleteHaha, yes it would help if you enjoyed tea. Thanks for commenting. Rachel x
DeleteI completely understand your fascination! Tea is therapeutic :) cute tea cosy x
ReplyDeleteThat's true, you can't help but relax when you have one. Thank for reading. Rachel x
