Melbourne Cup: What I wore

I had a great day yesterday. I would have been a little better if 'Zabeeeeelionairrrre' won.

I love Melbourne Cup because I will use any opportunity to wear a hat or fascinator.
Yesterday, I wore a gold sequin and yellow feathered fascinator. This was bought on eBay years and years ago. A slim, gold Guess belt with a H&M skirt sent to me by the gorgeous Kimbalikes (thank you). Gaudy, sequinned Nine West heels and a multi-coloured Mimco pouch.

    It's no secret I am completely in love with sequins. The more, the better! I managed to win 2nd place in the $5 office sweep and also won the Fashions on the Field competition at my work with a neon and black outfit, finished off with a giant black bow headband. A tidy little day!

    Unfortunately I had to work Cup Day but I certainly got my black and white groove on for Derby on Saturday. Hoorah for Spring Carnival!

    I don't get dressed up very often but ALWAYS get dressed up for Melbourne Cup. Love, love, love your shoes!
