2012: The selfie roundup. The good, the ugly & the hair

When I was looking over photos for 2012 I noticed there was a ridiculous amount of selfies. I guess this happens when you're a blogger. Initially when I started the blog just over a year ago, I was going to remain anonymous, my name wasn't going to be mentioned or my face seen. I guess I failed big time.

If you want some selfie tips I wrote some here. By the looks of it, I probably shouldn't be giving advice. In fact, I think my new years resolution will be to stop taking silly photos.

    I think I take a lot of selfies then delete them because none of them look even as good as your "ugly" ones (which btw are so NOT ugly - except maybe the face mask, no one should wear one of those in public! hahaha!). and lol at your check your backgrounds. i took a pic of my son in his school uniform for big school and then later when I looked at it, realized the toilet was to the left of him in the pic and completely distracted the whole picture!! great tips!

    Before starting up my blog I would never have expected to take so many photos of myself either, blogging is a funny thing to do in some ways... It's a pretty good collection of selfies you've got here, great fun :)

    Are all those hair styles in one year? Love it! And I think you look pretty amazing in all three series!
    I've just resurfaced for air after 3 babies back to back (youngest 11mths) so I'm setting myself some selfie challenges in the new year to crawl out of the 'trackies and unbrushed hair' grove that I slip into some [cough... I mean most] days LOL Off to check out those tips....

    I've got to agree - I never in my wildest dreams thought I would put my own picture up on my blog. I actually had never taken a selfie before blogging. Once the first step is taken, I guess it's all over. Great hair!

    I am the same-I am currently using a photo on my blog that is heavily filtered by instagram to make it better. i can't believe you have only been blogging over a year. (is that right?) great inspiration for newbie bloggers. I also can't decide whether I like your hair as a blonde or brunette-they both suit you

    Actually I suck at selfies. I use an SLR, and so my selfies involve a massive camera covering half my face. But I love yours - keep them up!

    Nice! My selfies are always in the 'ugly' category. It's an iPhone problem - they're designed to make you look bad. I'll have to go and read your tips :)
