When I was looking over photos for 2012 I noticed there was a ridiculous amount of selfies. I guess this happens when you're a blogger. Initially when I started the blog just over a year ago, I was going to remain anonymous, my name wasn't going to be mentioned or my face seen. I guess I failed big time.
The Hair...
The good....
and the ugly!
If you want some selfie tips I wrote some here. By the looks of it, I probably shouldn't be giving advice. In fact, I think my new years resolution will be to stop taking silly photos.Have you been taking more selfies over the last year?
hehehe, you really make me laugh. don't change, I love your selfies they show your sense of humour. to many people are to serious
ReplyDeleteThank you x
DeleteYou definitely DO need to be taking more selfies Rachel! Not only are they gorgeous for the most part but that drunk shot is hilarious!!
ReplyDeleteLove it :-)
xx
Thanks Tracey :) I hope I look a little better than that when I am actually drunk
DeleteI was going to stay anonymous too but I like to know a blogger so selfies go with the territory ;O) T xx
ReplyDeleteIt's very hard to stay anonymous :)
DeleteDon't stop takiing selfies, I love the Rachel show!

so many hair colour changes in one year is very impressive indeed!
ReplyDeletexx
Thank you :)
DeleteHa! You couldn't look ugly if you tried :-)
ReplyDeleteThanks Janet, you are very kind x
DeleteToo funny!
ReplyDeleteI think I take a lot of selfies then delete them because none of them look even as good as your "ugly" ones (which btw are so NOT ugly - except maybe the face mask, no one should wear one of those in public! hahaha!). and lol at your check your backgrounds. i took a pic of my son in his school uniform for big school and then later when I looked at it, realized the toilet was to the left of him in the pic and completely distracted the whole picture!! great tips!
ReplyDeleteHaha, I can't believe you got the toilet in the photo :)
DeleteBefore starting up my blog I would never have expected to take so many photos of myself either, blogging is a funny thing to do in some ways... It's a pretty good collection of selfies you've got here, great fun :)
ReplyDeleteYou should show your own collection. I would love to see them :)
DeleteAre all those hair styles in one year? Love it! And I think you look pretty amazing in all three series!
ReplyDeleteI've just resurfaced for air after 3 babies back to back (youngest 11mths) so I'm setting myself some selfie challenges in the new year to crawl out of the 'trackies and unbrushed hair' grove that I slip into some [cough... I mean most] days LOL Off to check out those tips....
Yes, and I just did ANOTHER one today. I must get bored quickly. Rx
DeleteWow, so many hairstyles! Your hairdresser has been busy. They are all gorgeous selfies, well there is one that is a bit iffy lol ;P
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas Rachel :)
I've got to agree - I never in my wildest dreams thought I would put my own picture up on my blog. I actually had never taken a selfie before blogging. Once the first step is taken, I guess it's all over. Great hair!
ReplyDeleteI am the same-I am currently using a photo on my blog that is heavily filtered by instagram to make it better. i can't believe you have only been blogging over a year. (is that right?) great inspiration for newbie bloggers. I also can't decide whether I like your hair as a blonde or brunette-they both suit you
ReplyDeleteI love your collection of selfies :) I've definitely taken more selfies this year - I blame Squirm :)
ReplyDeleteI think you should be taking -more- silly selfies. Love them! Always makes me smile.
ReplyDeleteMore selfies, please!
ReplyDeleteThose "ugly" ones are cracking me up! But you can never be ugly. You're such a gorgeous creature xxx
How's this for adapting to a trend, Quirky is making a selfie mirror apparently.

Actually I suck at selfies. I use an SLR, and so my selfies involve a massive camera covering half my face. But I love yours - keep them up!
ReplyDeleteNice! My selfies are always in the 'ugly' category. It's an iPhone problem - they're designed to make you look bad. I'll have to go and read your tips :)
ReplyDeleteYou're so funny Rachel. I love coming here! You never fail to make me laugh! Best wishes for the New Year!
