My Summer Wardrobe staples 2012/2013

I live for summer in Queensland. The days are long, sunny and gorgeous and the nights filled with warm, salty breezes.

My wardrobe staples are:

Long fun skirts.  This gorgeous one is only $45 at Tree of Life

Colourful, floaty dresses. They need to breath. This one from Witchery $199.95 is perfect

Fun flat sandals or thongs for the beach or school run. I love the colour and price of this Nine West ones. They are only $49.95 and of course, Havaianas, these slim Missioni ones tick all the boxes $69.95.

Tan or nude wedges. I love a wedge for their comfort and height. I need these to stretch out my short legs. They are great to wear with dresses, shorts or jeans. Again, these are from Nine West $139.95.

A white shirt. Witchery always has great white shirts. I love the fun twist on the classic. The pleated back will cover my generous butt and the short sleeves will keep me cool $119.95.

A great pair of skinny ankle skimming jeans in a neutral colour. I have been lusting after NYDJ ever since I first saw them on Styling You. These caramel ones would be perfect $104.

Piles of light, colourful scarves. Like these from Sussan $29.95 and Witchery $39.95

A great hat like this trilby from Witchery $39.95

A big bag to fit in water, sunscreen and a towel. This Oroton hobo is perfect $545 but I might want to get it when it's on special.

Large Sunnies. I'll take these Raybans.

I could include a pair of shorts, but you will never, ever catch me wearing shorts.

Pass me a Mojito and I am good to go.

What are you summer wardrobe must-haves?

Lola Versus Review and a giveaway

Lola Versus is an Indie rom-com starring Greta Gerwig. I really like Greta and have enjoyed her in other movies. She has a lovely, natural acting style. She isn't over the top. Nothing ruins a movie for me faster than overacting.

Early in the movie Lola gets dumped by her fiancĂ© and her life starts to fall apart. She goes from being in a long relationship and only sleeping with one person to becoming (in her words) 'slutty but a good person'. Maybe that's normal. Maybe many people go from one extreme to the other.

The Highlights
Creepy but cute Ebon Moss-Bachrach as a well endowed, roller blading, lover of fresh fish.
Debra Winger and Bill Pullman as Lola's parents - They are new age and free loving.
Henry. The nice guy best friend. I'm sure every woman falls in love with him.
It's set in NY. I love anything set in NY.

The Lowlights
Self sabotaging decisions Lola makes. A few times I wanted to reach into the screen and slap her.
A few clichés. I am glad there wasn't any sad, dumped girl eating ice cream scenes.

The good news is that she does smarten up.
