Defending Cavoodles everywhere

I'm slightly bugged that Daily Life has decided that Julia Gillard's dog Rueben is Australia's most influential Cavoodle. How was this decided? What other Cavoodles were in the running? Did anyone else get to vote? I think it was rigged to suck up to the Prime Minister.

I watched the slide show with my arms crossed, huffing louder and louder with each photo. Am I the only person that can tell that Rueben isn't photogenic and lacks social graces. His only skill is colour matching with his master. But I am sure Julia's boyfriend probably colours both their hair at the same time.

There are so many other more influential Cavoodles. I can even name two off the top of my head.

First Lola, she has influenced people when buying dog treats and children's bibs
She has photobombed hundreds of blog photos.
She has trained many, many children not to be scared of dogs.

She has won over dog haters.

Then, there's Barley from The Beach Cottage. He is serious competition for Lola for the title.

What has Rueben done lately?

But, Cavoodles aren't the only influential dogs. I'm sure yours is too. What have you got and how influential are they?

  1. We have too Cavoodles, Charlie and Lola (yeah, cute, hey?) Lola was very influential in our decision to purchase new sofas after she ate part of each of them. She is a decorator dog that one.

  3. I have an Australian Silky Terrier...who also manages to photo bomb almost ALL of my photos. When he is naughty (which is often) he gives me a look and somehow I am influenced into cuddling him instead of scolding him...still not quite sure how that happens ;0)

  7. Well, if you are slightly bugged imagine how Lola feels! Outraged, I'm sure. She should get her own twitter handle and blast Daily Life.

    1. She is holding in the outrage fairly well but I can see it simmering under the hair.

  9. I think this should have been put to a vote! perhaps an election??

I have two very large dogs a mastiff x ridgeback and a german wirehaired pointer. They are both small dogs trapped in large dogs bodies and feel that their 40kg+ frames should be allowed to curl up on your lap!
