Relaxed

I love this photo taken by my 7yo. She staged, arranged and snaped. Unfiltered.

The Walking Dead in Lego

I have been watching 'The Walking Dead' and I love it. I download each episode as it becomes available and can not wait until I can sit quietly and get my fix. Now I see walkers (zombies) everywhere.

I was walking passed my daughters abandoned lego game and this is what I saw.

Obviously it's all over for the headless lady, I am assuming that's Lori but I am concerned that the blonde may be Andrea.
Hershel Greene's deserted farmhouse
I hope this isn't Daryl Dixon (the requisite, delicious, bad boy)
The mysterious Michonne as she collapses on the wrong side of the fence
"Nervous Nellie" the horse borrowed by Daryl to look for Sophia
A walker or just passed out after a big night?
 Maggie driving the escape van
 Carnage, everywhere
 Weapons to re-kill the walkers
Maybe I need a break from this show and should watch something light and fluffy.

What are you watching at the moment?

Hello lover...

I have just spent a few days on Moreton Island. As you may already know, I was missing COFFEE!! I like to have a few cups as soon as I wake up. Bam, bam, bam.

When I got home I noticed my husband had installed this. A Nespresso capsule dispenser. Sometimes he is awesome.

Shattered

I just discovered these on my driveway.
They belonged to a visitor.
It's funny how I feel guilty even though I wasn't here.

I'm a Covergirl

This is a local magazine, Talking Mums. Guess who is their August 'Cover Girl'
They have released the August cover but not the magazine yet. I'll add the link when I have it. Then you will be able to read the fashion article I wrote on the inside.

Don't tell me what to do...

Even socks come with instructions now.  Notice the 'L' and 'R'. I refuse to obey a pair of socks.

Some hotels have funny rules

This weekend we stayed at the Sofitel Hotel in Sydney. While I was looking for note paper to take to Blogopolis I noticed grooves on the page from a previous note.
Being a snoopy, nosey, amateur detective I decided to work out what the note said. I hunted down a lead pencil and began to carefully shaded over the grooves...
and magically a message started to appear...
and it read...

"Guests are required to wear clothes when in the hallway"

Damn!! I wish I had of know when we booked that they were so weird about things like that (I am joking but the note is real).

I am assuming this must have been left by housekeeping for the previous nudists that accommodated the room. I wish I knew about them earlier. It's a little gross knowing that besides running nude through the halls, they probably sat nude on chairs, leaned nude on the table, made coffee nude etc.

Here comes the Brides...

Early this month I helped a friend. Beautiful You wanted to put together a photo book for brides showing them hair and makeup. They did all the hard work, hair and makeup and I took the lovely ladies down to the beach to take photos. Here are a few of my favourite snaps of the day.

For the Man that has everything....

The romantic athlete. The non athletic man might also want this due to it's comfort but it's not recommended. This really won't hide their masculine curves. Also, the unusually hairy man or excessive sweater may find it hard to remove. Other than that, I think they will look amazing and appropriately dressed for any occasion, from a marathon to a red carpet event. No dry cleaning necessary.
The Silent road rager. Stuff the man, I think I want this. This is a bargain, but beware you may be rammed by angry people that take emoticons too seriously.
For the hunting man. This man is a masculine, manly man, a sharp shooter with quick reflexes, but a wee bit lazy. Yep, because that's how he rolls, literally.
Tank Wheelchair $9,300
For the wise soul with a fighting spirit. This is for the man with few words. But listen for those words, they may or may not hold some wisdom. I know a certain man and his daughter that would really appreciate the Yoda bathrobes $69.99.
For the man that has everything except a beer belly. He can fake it until he makes it, and with this baby, he will make it. I am just concerned that the heat radiating off their hot, manly bodies will heat up the beer. But, they are so butch they don't care. Grrr. Please do not attempt to wear this with the Tuxedo Morphsuit.
I hope I have helped you think of some great gifts for the men in your life. Your welcome.

Weird Search engine requests

In blogger you can find out what people have searched to land on your page. Some of them make me giggle. I thought I would share a few with you:

Nuggets pretty woman xx - Do you think they are talking about Nugget from Hey Dad! (80's sitcom)? Did he even have a pretty woman? Guess what? It's not me.
Nude blue men - I am not sure about this, but do you think it's because I undressed my husband, painted  him blue, took photos and then tagged it. Oh, that's right, I didn't!!
Toe cleavage - yes, I wrote about this and I still don't like it;
I like going topless - I did bring this on myself and I am sure there were a few disappoint people when they realise it was just a mum in a convertible. Sorry perverts!
Men in trouble while taking pic - Seriously wondering who would goggle this and how on earth they arrived at my page. Maybe they were nude and painted blue?
Bad house wife - I wonder if this was my husband?
