Things that made me smile today...

These tiny little flowers my daughter picked and put into a shot glass. There are lots of things that are really great in shot glasses but I think for breakfast time this was excellent.
This gorgeous pink cauliflower I found in Coles.
My 6yo "it kinda freaks me out".
Me "Toughen up and eat your pink cauliflower. This is what a Disney Princess would eat"
The sequinned backdrop my husband made for my vlogging.
It's like a disco for a really, lonely, sad lady.
Magazine freebies, woo hoo....
and here is a vlog about the freebies in front of my disco background.

    1. Thanks, I love them too. They appeal to my inner rockstar :) They were only about $5 at DFO at a surf shop. I want to go back and see what else they might have. Rachel x

    1. It goes dark purple/blue when cooked, it looks even more freaky then. Rx

  3. Love the sad lady backdrop, but can you restrain yourself from wearing it as a cape and whizzing around the house as Captain Disco? I don't think I could!

    1. I bought extra fabric for those moments that you really need a cape for. :)

    1. It turned out more evil queen looking when cooked - went an evil dark blue/purple.

  5. Very colour coordinated vlog post Rachel. Bright purple leggings, bright pink lip gloss and bright pink cauliflower! What more could a girl ask for! LOL Next time you feel like a visit to DFO, sing out. My sister lives just around the corner and I could plan a visit there as well as checking out DFO.

  7. That cauliflower is unreal!! So many colourful vegies in the supermarkets at the moment in Aus (I'm guessing you're in Aus as I've seen that InStyle mag with the freebies in my local newsagent too haha)
