Double pluggers, flip-flops, thongs, jandles...

I am a Queenslander and you can not possibly have too many colourful pairs of Havaianas. In the Spring cleaning of my shoe wardrobe, these are the ones that have made the cut and will be hanging around for another season.

What is your go-to summer footwear?

    1. I wouldn't mind a few more, but I only allow myself one pair a season :) I think I set too many rules for myself. Rachel x

  4. In summer, I can't go past my faithful Havi's and some cute jewelled flats. If I'm getting dressed up, then a pair of peeptoe wedges seems to do the trick. Speaking of summer - it's 28 degrees here in Adelaide today...YAY! xx

  7. I actually don't own a pair of Havaianas!! My footwear of choice for too many months is Ugg boots (on account I live in cold old Canberra). Or any other type of long warm boot. But the rest of the time I do like a bit of sparkle or bedazzle or at least a bit of colour in my thongs/sandles.

  8. I love my Havaianas!! Like you I have a collection!

I bought my little girl a pair the first summer that she was on her feet! They are the cutest little things! I just wanted to eat her little toes up!

They go great with an awesome pedicure!

  10. Love your intro! You have no idea the amount of times I have found myself in awkward situations here in Dubai when I have started talking about my thongs.

    1. Haha, I image there are many places that would get confused by 'thongs'. Rx

  13. Nice colours! In Singapore where its summer all year long, it's usually Fitflops, Birks or Havaianas. Or very cheap flip flops.

  14. Oh, so pretty! Love the colours. I usually pick boring white ones. You have inspired me!

  17. thongs thongs and more thongs here, though I do actually only have one pair but that is all I wear. I love that photo Rach

  18. It used to be thongs but I learned to drive 3 years ago (pretty late compared to most people) and I can't drive in 'backless' shoes. So I tend to live in casual Colorado sneakers of some kind. Colorado are the only shoes I can try on and they always fit... I can't wait for them to start selling again!

Only I always wear socks. And Colorado shoes often have lots of 'gaps' in the design... so it looks a little odd. But the alternative is majorly stinky feet, so I'll take a little bit of oddness.
