5 minute beauty routine to disguise that you only had 2 hours sleep

I am a champion at getting ready in a limited time frame. I know that sounds braggy, but everyone has a skill and this is mine.  I am an insomniac and I don't want to always look like death.

This morning I did in fact look like death and I had minutes to recify it.
Today my 5 minute routine involved these products
Makellos Eye primer. I used this as a base and eyeshadow to lighten and open up my tired, red eyes.
MAC Mineralised blush in Dainty. To add some much needed colour.
Makellos again. Their Lip pot in Red Wine. This isn't on their website anymore. I hope they bring it back. It's the perfect natural soft red.
Plus the accessories to distract people from the exhaustion written on my face. Ralph Lauren sunglasses and a scarf from Tree of Life.
What are your best 5 minute beauty tips?

  1. That is awesome! Mine is a pop of colour on the lips and lots of blush and under eye highlighter.

  3. I am wearing that same BB cream today too!

My 5 minute beauty tip is to start with BB cream, apply a bit of Benefit's Erase Paste and High Beam and finish with some mascara and a good swipe of blush on the cheeks for some colour.

  6. 4 questions:
    1. Does the dark spot corrector really work?
    2. If so, where can I buy it?
    3. Does the Makellos Eye primer go under the eyes also?
    4. If so, what order?

    1. Hi Jodi, I have only been using the dark spot corrector for a short while. It seems good and I'm not going to give up. It's Garnier, so you can get it just about anywhere. I only use the Eye primer on my lids.

  7. The sunnies are definatley the foolproof way to go! I love how they double up as holding your hair back if you haven't had time to run a brush or tongs through them!

  9. I'm the same on the lack of sleep and not wanting to look like I've got a whole Taiwanese Contortion group living in the bags under my eyes.

All over Priori SPF30 daily defense moisturiser, light slightly reflective eyeshadow on inside eye/nose and white eyeliner on lower inside rim of eye to hide puffiness, Too Faced Naked Eye Pallete, Benefit They're Real mascara, and Dior Addict Lip Glow (which is amazing). Done

If I look really bad Garnier Anti-Dark Circle Eye Roller gets a go on the bags too. If all else fails out come the big sunglasses :)

  10. This stream is fabulous! I need to make some notes!

Question: would a good yeye cream before bed improve how baggy my eyes look in the morning?

Do you use an eye cream? What would you recommend?

    (I know this isn't a make-up question - sorry to digress)

    1. I love eye creams but I am just using a cheapo supermarket one at the moment. I want to get an Image one. I love their products. I think next payday I'll check them out. Rx

  13. I don't have any beauty tips. I think that you need to come around and show me some tips. You know I only just started to use a cleanser and moisturiser. Yeah I'm a bit late to the party on those ones.
