Win a Family Pass to Disney on Ice, Princesses and Heros

This competition has closed and the lucky winner has been contacted by email.

I have been busy going to plenty of 'grown up' musicals, plays and parties and I've loved every moment. My girls have been watching patiently as I frock up and try hard to get my pretty on. This time I have one for the girls. In the June school holidays I have tickets to see Disney on Ice, Princesses and Heros.

My girls are so freaking excited, they have spent many holidays watching all the Disney Princess movies over and over and over. It will be so exciting for them to see all the princesses twirly, jumping and being very princessy in real life.

I have never been to a Disney on Ice. I have seen the reviews and it looks fab.

But wait, there is more....

I have one family pass (2 adults 2 children) to see Disney on Ice, Princesses and Heros at 11am on 27 June 2013 at the Boondall Entertainment Centre, Brisbane. This will be a fantastic way to entertain your children in the holiday.  To enter:
  1. Tell me why you'll be needing a break in the school holidays. Comment below or on facebook - here;
  2. Enter before 6am on 11th June 2013;
  3. If you feel like following Redcliffe Style on the blog or on facebook, that would be cool too but it's not a requirement.
Good luck!

"Enter a world of wonder where heroes and hearts prevail.  Join Ariel as she yearns to explore the world above the waves, see Prince Philip defeat the evil Maleficent to rescue Sleeping Beauty’s Aurora.  Witness high flying jumps, daring acrobatics and breathtaking skating as you discover a whole new world with Jasmine and Aladdin and watch in awe as the dreams of Cinderella, Belle, Snow White, Rapunzel and Tiana all come true. 1. 5 kids in this house, hello?! Pass the valium!

    I went to Disney on Ice at the Entertainment Centre years ago when my first two kids were little. They absolutely LOVED it. You'll have a great time. My 3 and 5 year old Disney Princesses would explode with excitement if I took them along.

  6. I remember going to see Disney on Ice once when I was in Primary School and it was fantastic! To be honest it could have been anything on ice and I would have loved it, I was so taken with the skating.

  7. A great giveaway Rach.
    These school holidays I'll be needing a break because I have my MIL from NZ visiting for 12 days beforehand! And my oldest two would ADORE seeing their characters come to life on ice. Most importantly I could send the husband with them and my wee boy, nearly 2, could have precious mumma time!

  10. Last time we went to Disney on Ice my daughter threw up in my lap (and all over the people in the row in front of us, thankfully it was dark so they can't identify us!), hopefully she won't do that again (she's 16 now!) but she'd still love Disney on Ice and it would mean one day where all 4 kids aren't moaning "Mum I'm bored" at me.

  11. If my life was a disney song!

    [Me] Gotta keep
    One jump ahead of the toddler
    One sweep ahead of the mess
    I clean, up until I go to sleep!
    ( That's Everyday! )

    One jump ahead of the children
    That's all, and that's no joke
    These guys don't appreciate I'm broke

    [Kids] Mummy! Hungry! MUUUM! Bored!

    [Me] Just a little snack, guys
    [Kids] "I'm still hungry". "He's got more than me".
    [Me] I can take a hint, gotta face the facts
    I've got to do food shopping with the kids!

  13. I don't need a break from my daughter, she is awesome. The only thing I would say is that my daughter is so good and well behaved that she deserves a little break, and seeing Disney on Ice would be a massive suprise for her, that would be the ultimate dream come true for her.

  19. I often find myself at wits end
    trying to occupy them with little to spend.

  20. I will need a break because this is the first school holidays I am taking off to look after the kids at home rather than my wife and I am seriously going to need a little help to entertain.... I am actually silently freaking out.

  21. 'School holiday' is actually code for 'time to coat the house in f--ing glitter'. Things just aren't fun unless they're sparkly.

    Love a day out, away from the craft chaos. Hopefully the fairies will de-glitter the house while we're out!
