Lacking Self Esteem? I can help you.

When you are feeling low and you can't seem to perk yourself up. No-one seems to notice or appreciate you. You don't feel like you have achieved anything. Does this sound like you???

Here is what to do....
1. Have a shower and put on some nice clothes;
2. Make up and hair will help but aren't necessary;
3. Get your bag, your purse (this is definitely needed) and your car keys;
4. Drive to your closest Apple store, mine is at Chermside. You need to arrive
    before Apple is open;
5. Wait impatiently with the other 200 people'
6. When the doors open walk in, they will be clapping, cheering, smiling and
    whooping, loudly and just for you (not the other 200 people).
And if you buy an iPad, they will do it all again.

    2. This totally happened. I was not prepared and was quite surprised. Toddlers were screaming all around me from fright but I sure felt like a movie star. But it wasn't just for me. Rachel x

  5. I've never bought my gadgets in store. I think perhaps I'd better try it out next time. If only I could justify upgrading from my 1st gen ipad :(
    Congrats on the new one though - now don't let the kids use it!

    1. I am so happy to have a nice iPad again. I paid for a service ($279) and they just handed over a new one. They said they can't fixed cracked screens. It was cheaper than going through contend insurance.

      It was the first time I bought something instore. It's a little intimidating with all the people an noise.

  6. haha! My husband is a manager at that there store, and he will love that you have blogged about it! They do that everyday. And I know I might be bias, but it is the best experience to purchase in store, they do the personal set up and teach you how to use your new product, and the one-to-one service that you can purchase with any imac is just awesome. And being clapped and cheered really does make you feel good even if it is a little intimating to walk in the front doors in the first place :)

  7. Hi Megs, Your husband should be proud. The staff is completely amazing there. So friendly, helpful and well trained. I love buying products in person. They were great with my girls too. :)

  8. Hahaha, I love that. I think the whole clapping thing is cheesy but it is certainly a mood booster! Every Apple store I have visited always has good customer service which I love.
